This Oxydravite Tourmaline is a brick red color and extremely rare.  Masses and individual small complete crystals  interbedded with a few Piemontite crystals in felsic rock.  Only found at a few localities in the world and now in Picuris Mining District, Taos Co, NM.  Verification: Dr Barbara Dutrow, LSU and Dr George Rossman, California Institute of Technology
